Literacy Lounge Book Club
At The Literacy Lounge, young readers entering grades 6-9 come together to explore literature in a dynamic and engaging environment. Led by an experienced educator with over 25 years in teaching and ELA curriculum development, these small-group book clubs encourage thoughtful discussion, critical thinking, and a deeper appreciation for reading.

Research shows that children who enjoy reading naturally develop stronger comprehension skills (Guthrie & Wigfield, 2000), and The Literacy Lounge is designed to nurture that love of reading through engaging conversations and meaningful connections with texts. More than just a book club, The Literacy Lounge is a place where young minds grow, perspectives expand, and a lifelong passion for reading takes root.
